Sail Cloth
But she barely uses it, mostly tying it around her waist and doing tumble rolls to land instead. When she does use it, it's either for emergencies or it has been tied loosely. Her mother spent a few years perfecting it and making it durable, so that the material wouldn't weaken and tear or that the colours wouldn't fade.

To take pictures of the locations she can reach on her loftwing. She's been practicing flying backwards, trying to take a picture of Skyloft as she's flying away from it. (Because taking a picture of Skyloft as she's flying towards it is no fun.)

Personality:
Camille is obedient and dutiful, never saying no and always doing as she's asked. She has fun running around during errands and helping others, since she's been brought up that way by her mother. She likes the feel of freedom and loves to fly out to do what she wants (like taking pictures and figuring out new ways to fly on her loftwing), but she prefers the feeling of duty over it. She wants to quickly make her way up the ranks of the academy and become a knight faster, getting to go out on Prince every day, protect people, and do missions or small quests as a job. She hates violence, but she wields weapons with a man's confidence (which her father taught her), so that fear doesn't overcome her when a crisis arises.

Although she's unafraid to jump off the island and fly on her loftwing, that isn't reflected in her personality. She's docile, submissive, naive, and ignorant (at certain points), and like her loftwing, stubborn to some extent (when it comes to learning something new from someone else; which means that she has to learn things herself or she won't learn at all). She is a fail at sewing, unlike her mother, decent at cooking, and a natural at cleaning ('cuz she's a woman ). Ever since she joined the academy, she's been treated like her brother and like a fragile artifact that needs to be protected. She puts on a brave face for her parents, so that they will learn to let go and start to live in the present.

History:
Camille grew up in "the perfect family"; a mom, a dad, and an older brother. Both men of the family were Skyloft knights, her father taking night shifts and her brother days, the two alternating and sometimes staying out later than they're supposed to just to race each other around the islands.

Her mother was a stay home mother, and she got into the knack of crafting and sewing, creating and making most of the trinkets and clothes in their household. Camille's mom also loved to bake, and often gave lots of food to the knights working late and hard with long shifts. If she bakes too much, then she'll sent some to the knight academy with her daughter.

Camille herself volunteered at the pumpkin patch until she was of age to enter the knight academy. Of course, her mother opposed instantly, their household holding onto the old belief that women must take care of the house, procreate, make food, clean, etc. while men must have the jobs, bring in the money, work hard, etc. Camille didn't have the heart to oppose her parents, and stayed as the "errand girl" running around Skyloft.

A few months before it was the opening ceremony for academy newcomers to join, the accident happened.

Her dad and her brother were racing as they usually did around the islands, but there was a fluctuation in monsters appearing (mostly octorok). Since they were never hit once, the men thought it would be fun to see how long they would last in the air, and kept racing until they got tired. Her dad got hit a few times, but refused to give up, and her brother followed closely behind, but was struggling. They returned home and got their injuries looked over, but since it was her brother's turn to go out for a shift, he didn't have time to fully recover. He flew back out on his loftwing, and they were both never seen again.

Her brother gone, and other Skyloftians always saying that he was dead for being away for so long, the family turned somber. Her dad took over her brother's shifts and barely came home anymore, always looking for hints that would lead him back to his son. He rotates every single island every day, believing that he was still alive, that he had only stopped by somewhere for a break, since he had been weak.

As the search continued, the months passed, and the days to enter the academy were nearing, Camille was suddenly pushed to enter the academy by her mother. Camille was confused, since she expected her mom to forbid her from going so that she wouldn't lose her. She was glad however, and rushed off to sign up. Her mother was burdened deep inside, but she allowed her daughter to go to help her husband, to get him to smile again. If Camille can take over her brother's place in the family, then maybe her family will slowly go back to how it used to be. (Because of this, Camille's parents are also attempting to have another child, but to no avail.)

Her mom now weaves bright clothes for Camille, so that she's distinguishable when she's flying. She uses the theme of the pumpkin patch, since Camille loves working there. She also includes Nayru's symbol in Camille's clothing, in a symbolic way to give her a goddess' luck (and that she doesn't vanish like her brother).

Loftwing

Name: Prince
Colours: Gray, with navy blue and moss green feathers.

Personality:
True to his name, Prince acts like a prince. He must be loved at all times, talked to at all times, and be flown at all times. He's known to be high maintenance--his hair and feathers must be brushed every morning to avoid it from going into his eyes; he must be the first person or loftwing that Camille sees in the morning; he must fly every dawn and every dusk; if he hates you, he will sit on you; if another loftwing comes too close, he will attempt to race them (he is very proud and must be the best); he must never be ignored (or he will sit on you); etc.
Although his colours may appear to be dull or lifeless, his attitude is not. He is very stubborn and strong-willed, and everything must go his way or you will have a very angry loftwing chasing after you day and night.

Meeting Prince: He hated her at first glance, since he thought she was weak and spineless, and then proceeded to take a sit on her. Camille grew fond on his constant sitting on her (and not the other way around lol) and adopted him as hers. They grew inseparable soon after. He still sits on her, even if he's too big and he doesn't hate her anymore (she's the only one who actually likes to deal with him ). Camille thinks that this is also his way to show affection.
