[SA] Skyloft High School Mod Club

So and I were talking about side quests and stuff when I suddenly brought up the topic of Skyloft being kinda like Ouran High School Host Club! But it would have to be reverse, since there's so many girls in the group so we can take the best pick (or something like that idk) and then find the lucky boy to dress as a girl.

Of course, as I went looking through the characters, to develop the idea, I ended up looking through the mod's characters.

All together, the mods had a total of 7 characters.
What else has 7 characters? The host club. 
Coincidence? I THINK NOT
IT MUST BE FATE! 
Fated to be drawn anyway ahahah

Of course, this could have never happened without our two new mods, who both own two characters, making it a perfect number! If I had just went with the main mod charas, I would only get the 5 //orz// or I could've used the old mods and the new mods but then I'd have to pick which ones are left out and then I'm feel bad //sobbu// unless someone wants to be Nekozawa?? (but then we'd still need to drop one... )

I apologize if anyone looks off //sob// I tried to draw everyone according to their heights and not by the Ouran heights // ahahah it'd be weird having a tiny Leenan, don't cha think? 
And I'm sorry it's just a sketch! I don't have the motivation to lineart all that ;;^;;'
AND YES I KNOW HOSTS ARE SUPPOSED TO SMILE BUT LIKE I WANT THEM TO LOOK NATURAL ? HENCE ALL THE PISSY LOOKS ?

Below are the explanations for choice!  I really thought all of this through as you can tell ahahah sorry for the wall of text //orz

RahKali as Tamaki: Trough the process of character choice, I mostly looked at personality for the characters. However, although RahKali would be a better fit for Kyouya's role, being manipulative with a devil's smile, RahKali as Tamaki was mostly due to this line in her app: "She's extremely competitive and can be a little bossy but she does everything with a smile so even if you're being insulted her face wouldn't show it." That's a very Tamaki like quality there, because he's "King", because he controls the host club, because he constantly pesters the other members and fights with the twins, so he's also naturally bossy. It also takes a lot to bother him, even when he gets insulted or put down, he jumps right back up and continues with gusto. 

Ellie and Marrilyn as Kaoru and Hikaru: Because the twins are typically the toughest to set up, because two similar mischievous types are hard to find together, I looked for character similarities instead. Both Ellie and Marrilyn are tough characters to get along with, both kickass, rough, rude, etc. They're the perfect match! Both together and as the twins! If my watching OHSHC for the last week hadn't been a lie, the twins also had a pretty rough and unsociable point in their lives, only taking care of each other and crushing anyone's else feelings, because they hated the fact that no one could tell them apart. This works with that aspect, and even though the twins are kinda tame, they still bully Tamaki and Haruhi, which also works with Ellie and Marrilyn's characters! (If I remember the twins correctly, Marrilyn would be Kaoru and Ellie Hikaru, mostly because these are the harsher/meaner (?) of the pairs.) Oh! and the fact that both of them have hair in front of them is similar! 

Leenan as Honey/Mistukuni: "Leenan is a very friendly guy, and gradually turned into a goofball" although this line from his app seems more like a Tamaki line, Leenan is too shy to be Tamaki. If you think of Mistukuni's background, they were serious and strict before they became the cute person that they were. Leenan's transformation from shy to goofy could also be taken as the type of transformation Honey went through. Though the main reason I picked Leenan was because OF PINKIE LIKE OMFG ASDFGHJHJHFGDGF THE CUTEEEEEEEEEEE so like yes Pinkie as Usa-chan! 

Talfryn as Mori: Mori is a cool silent badass dude who kicks butt! He's also really protective! In ep 1, when Haruhi asked for his help to escape Tamaki, he went hulk and just BAM swooped in and saved her! And later, he protected Haruhi against Kyouka's ignorant guards. Sounds kinda familiar? "Talfryn will always look out for others and is a very fatherly big brother type. If someone has a problem, he is the one who will go to the ends of the earth to help; He has a zero tolerance for bullies." Mori himself practically seems like a big brother too, always doting and helping Honey like a sweetie. Talfryn makes the perfect character to be the badass wild type! 

Harrier as Kyouya: Harrier was mostly picked because he's very much like the cool type that Kyouya's all about (even if he's not wearing glasses). Of course, Harrier's silence rather fits Mori's quietness. But the fact of Harrier "liv[ing] up to their given name: a hunter" got me to thinking. Hunters are usually cunning, intelligent, focused, well-mannered, observant, etc. Kyouya definitely has these qualities--how else would he try to win over his dad to become the heir to their business? Notice the opportunity and strike accordingly. There's also the fact that there is little that interests Harrier, and Kyouya only does things that profits him; that's also a close link! The more I thought about setting the two together, the further I was convinced that Harrier would make a good Kyouya.

Ryn as Haruhi: Ryn is seen as an exhausted and unenthusiastic character. Fortunately for me, Ouran has Haruhi, who's constantly annoyed and bothered by her fellow club members, making her seem, pardon my language, "tired of their shit". Haruhi's changes from going along with  the host club, going from a dull study bug to the more active natural talent of her club, also seems to be the same changes that Ryn went through--"A bit brighter and smilier, she's more active than she used to be, and she tries to be more outgoing and friendly". The two also appear to be strong inwardly, optimistic and willing to try new things!  The two are a good match and nothing could convince me otherwise.
